What is rayon fabric ？

Rayon is a synthetic fiber also known as rayon or viscose. It is a semi-synthetic fiber made from natural cellulose (usually from wood pulp) that is chemically treated and spun. Rayon has a similar look and feel to natural fibers, but also has some of the characteristics of synthetic fibers.

There are many types and variants of Rayon fabrics, including Viscose Rayon, Modal Rayon, Lyocell Rayon, etc. Their production process is basically similar, but the raw materials used and processing methods are different.

What is rayon fabric made of ？

Rayon's production process includes the following steps:

Pulp Preparation: A natural cellulosic material such as wood pulp is mixed with a chemical solvent to form a cellulosic pulp.

Spinning: The cellulose pulp is spun through a spinning device. During spinning, cellulose pulp is extruded into filaments and cured into fibers by chemical treatment.

Drawing and curing: The spun fibers are drawn and heat cured to enhance the strength and stability of the fibers.

Washing and post-treatment: The fibers are washed and chemically treated to remove residual solvents and impurities and to make the fibers soft and handleable.

Weaving: The post-treated fibers can be woven by looms or other textile equipment to make Rayon fabrics.

Rayon fabric has many characteristics, such as softness, breathability, good moisture absorption and good color absorption. It can mimic the look and feel of natural fibers, while having lower cost and better moldability. Rayon fabrics are widely used in apparel, home textiles and industrial applications.

    A: 1.For dyed fabric: confirm the color from the pantone book, or provide your color sample, we will finish it in 4 to 5 days.
         2.For printed fabric: confirm our existing designs or provide your design , and we will make strike-offs for approval, and it
            will spend 5-7 days.
Plain dye color:7-10days.
Printing design: 10-15 days.
For urgent order, could be faster, Please contact us for communication and negotiation.

     A: 1.For dyed fabric: about 10-15 days after the lab-dips approved
          2.For printed fabric: about 15-20days after the S/O sample approved.

      A: Please give us more details of the fabric, for example, the weight , the width ,composition etc. We can offer A4 sample for free,

           you only need to pay the freight cost. ​For the first-time cooperation, the postage charge would be by customer's account.
